It’s not about your work… it’s about YOU! So many people want to gain and garner the attention of others by the content that they produce, but that’s not what life is about.
Life is much greater than that. The number one product you can focus on is yourself – your own life. Why waste time worrying about things that are beyond your control?
God has already equipped you with everything you need to reach your maximum potential and be the person you were meant to be. When you see that all these tools He has offered us that are present in the world are really instruments to your own salvation, then you can really thrive! One of the sneakiest tricks of the devil is to say, “Look over here!” Meanwhile, he is tying you up and you don’t even know it!
However, there’s an escape plan. That escape plan is to go inside yourself - to look within and discover the talents and gifts that you have - your gift to the world. Then you can focus much more on giving and accomplishing your mission rather than seeking something in exchange for that which you are giving out.
True gift seeks nothing in return. So whatever you do, whatever you create, whatever you produce, let it come as a gift from your spirit inside of you. Let it flow out to heal the world, and then you will find that the love you have been looking for has been dwelling within you the whole time. All you had to do was let it out and let it live!
